Membership includes consistent ways to show up, build relationships, and grow your business without the pressure to perform:

Learning Sessions (1st Monday of the month, 4–5 p.m. PT): A structured, community-centered hour featuring practical teaching, guest spotlights, and/or facilitated discussion on topics that support your growth as a coach/consultant/creative. Expect actionable takeaways, shared wisdom, and time to connect with other members.

Speed Networking (3rd Thursday of the month, 12–1 p.m. PT): A fast, friendly way to meet other members through short breakout rounds. Great for building referral relationships, practicing your intro, and finding collaborators without awkward small talk.

Referral Roundtables
-
Referral Roundtables are a structured, relationship-first experience designed to help members build trust, strengthen referral skills, and exchange warm introductions over time. Members are placed into small Referral Cohorts (breakout rooms capped at 6 members per cohort) so everyone has space to share what they do, name the referrals they’re looking for, and make meaningful connections.

A 3-month commitment is strongly encouraged so your cohort has time to build real momentum. Cohorts meet at least once per month (minimum) for three total meetings, and members are welcome to schedule additional meetups on their own if they want more consistency and follow-through.

To keep things smooth, organized, and equitable, each cohort will vote for a session leader at every meeting to help keep time, ensure everyone is heard, and guide the group toward clear next steps and follow-through. As participation grows, we’ll expand cohort options and meeting opportunities.

How Referral Cohorts Work

Get matched: You’ll be placed into a small Referral Cohort with other UCN members (max 6 per cohort).

Meet monthly: Cohorts meet at least once per month to build trust, stay connected, and keep referrals moving.

Meet more if you want: Your cohort can schedule additional meetups between monthly sessions for extra momentum.

Rotate leadership: Each session, the cohort votes for a session leader to keep things orderly, on time, and inclusive.

Leave with next steps: Every meeting ends with clear asks, warm intro opportunities, and simple follow-through commitments.

Is there a cost to join?

UCN is currently free, and will transition to a paid membership starting July 1. Membership will be $10/month (Standard) or $15/month (Pay It Forward). Scholarships are available.
